Alle kender vel the Beatles - så her er lidt om BTO (melodiøs rock). Bachman-Turner Overdrive blev dannet på resterne af gruppen Brave Belt i 1973 - og opløst igen i 1980. Der er senere indspillet albums og turneret, bl.a. i Danmark, men gruppens storhedstid endte da Randy Bachman forlod BTO i 1976.
Den bedste besætning bestod af Randy Bachman (guitars/vocals), C. F. Turner (bass/vocals), Blair Thornton (guitars/background vocals) og Rob Bachman (drums/percussion/background vocals). Derudover har bl.a. Tim Bachman og Jim Clench været medlemmer.
Det bedste af de 12 album som er udgivet i Danmark er Not Fragile (eller opsamlingen The Anthology - hvis man ikke gider ha' de andre)!
